February 13th, 2013: Show me the Magic will have its Sydney premiere screening on at the Chauvel Cinema in Paddington at 6.30pm February 13th, 2013. Don and Jeanette will attend and join director Cathy Henkel and composer Nicolette Boaz for a Q & A after the film.

Adelaide - Mercury Cinema - Wednesday 27th February, 4pm - as part of DocWeek Summer School and AIDC, plus an additional screening in the evening for the general public.

November 22, 2012:  Show me the Magic has been officially invited to screen at the prestigious Byron Bay Film festival in March 2013.  Screenings at several other film festivals are also being finalised.

 

 

November 22, 2012: The World Premiere launch of Show me the Magic was a complete success, with a sell-out screening at B.I.F.F. and terrific audience acclaim and feedback during the Q&A session and after-launch party.

 

 

November 2, 2012: The World Premiere of Show me the Magic will be a feature screening of BIFF, Brisbane's  International Film Festival.  The event promises to be sold out affair, attend by leading cinema industry figures.

 

 

October 2012: Show me the Magic has been selected for competition in BIFFDocs, the doco segment of the Brisbane International Film Festival, vying for a prize of $25,000.  It is the only Australian Entry.

 

 

October 25, 2012: Don McAlpine and Cathy Henkel attended the Cockatoo Island Film Festival in October as part of the "in conversation" industry event at the festival. Cathy screened a segment of the documentary which features Don at work on Cockatoo Island filming X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
